  • Second degree burn and deeper also burn on face, over the joint, hand, feet and perineum.
  • Burn in elderly and the very young.
  • Wound sustained in contaminated environment
  • Wound patient on immunosuppressant drugs
  • Deep wounds with extensive abrasion , damaged tendons, nerves or muscles or animal bite
  • Infected wound with signs such as swellings, heat, redness and pain
